Mireya
Rios is one of those very special people who is multi-talented, multi-lingual
and multi-cultural. She’s been around, so to speak, which means she really has
been around – the world, that is. She is extremely well traveled and well
educated – she went to high school in Switzerland even though she was born in
far away (from Switzerland) Mexico. She is cultivated, intelligent and a super
talented actress who enjoys the good life and can act convincingly in any role
she is cast in.
Mireya
is also quite a popular young woman and attends red carpet events such as the
SAG awards in New York City and has a high social media presence on Snapchat
and Instagram, where she currently has over 28,000 followers. She even did a
very successful Snapchat commercial in which she was the lead character.
Mireya
has been in numerous films including, The
Run, Wedding Dilemma, Who Took My Cherry,which she also produced, The Letter, 12 Steps to Recovery, Fatefully
Years, As Luck Would Have it, No Smoking Dean of New York, Alejo Bachata,
Learning How To Speak and among others, iFood,
directed by award-winning director Carlos Davila, whose previous short film
The Kiss, was screened at the Tribeca
Film festival and the Cannes Film Festival and was picked up by HBO. The short
film Mireya acted in for iFood was shot in Monterrey, Mexico and talks about how
technology has changed the way we interact with each other and with our food.
Mireya
has played the ‘Wife’ in the stage play Joesph
and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and she was the lead character in
the NBC show Disappeared and was the
hostess for Creavista Media’s pilot for Telemundo Latino V.I.P.
Mireya
studied at UCLA, New York Film Academy under Hank Stone and at Lee Strasberg with Irma Sandrey. She also has had extensive
training in Improvisation, acrobatics, dialect and accents and Shakespeare.
Mireya also dances, sings and she is fluent in Spanish, English and French. She
is considered by many to be one of the important international world-class
actresses in today’s film industry. Her multi-cultural and multi-lingual
talents make her comfortable anywhere in the world that she is working. She has
several projects coming out this year and we can’t wait to see them.
