BIG THINGS HAPPENING FOR AUSSIE ACTOR JONATHON JAMES IN HOLLYWOOD

Hi Jonathon, it’s always great to catch up with you. You have recently been cast as a co-star in the feature film ‘Once in a lifetime’ opposite some very well known household names; Danny Trejo, Eric Roberts and Tom Sizemore. You must be super excited to be working with such legendary actors. 

Absolutely! I’m thrilled and honored to be a part of ‘Once in a lifetime’ and this fabulous cast and crew! 

How do you feel about acting alongside such an amazing group of world class talent? 

I don't feel like I have to go up against these actors, but be alongside them and be a part of the process of this movie. However, in saying that, as a kid I used to love and watch ‘Best of the Best’ with Eric Roberts all the time so there was a little bit of fan boy inside me.

Tell us more about this Hollywood production? 

Well I can't tell you too much except to say it is a modern day love story set in Los Angeles with many intersecting twists and turns between the characters with a fantastic script and cast.

You recently wrapped up your film ‘The measure of your Faith’, which was fantastic. What is your next project? 

I have just signed on for ‘Cop Killer’ a film that explores the racial tensions between the police and the African American community. It is a delicate issue but an important one to bring to the screen and raise awareness. I am playing the lead (Lee Warren) who is a police officer who fatally kills a young man that ignites into a town uproar.

You recently worked with Ben Affleck in his upcoming film ‘Live by night’ what was that like?

That was just amazing! Working with Ben who is an Oscar winner and most recently, the new Batman was an out of this world experience! To be in scenes with him and work on such a cool period of time the 1920s, was so much fun and something I will always remember.
