Tina Knowles: Beyonce wanted to bring 'Healing' with Lamonade

Mama approves! Beyoncé celebrated the release of her HBO short film Lemonade and her album of the same name with her mom, Tina Knowles, on Sunday, April 24.

Queen Bey, 34, didn't hold back on her sixth studio album, which dropped on Jay Z's music service, Tidal, on Saturday. (Lemonade is now available on iTunes and Amazon too.) The new tracks cover a variety of topics, from cheating, female empowerment and black oppression. Her tune "Sorry," which calls out a mistress named Becky, has made the most buzz.

Beyoncé chose the name Lemonade for a very special reason. On her HBO special, the superstar shared footage of Jay Z's grandmother Hattie giving a speech at her 90th birthday party. She tells the crowd: "I was served lemons, but I made lemonade."
