Nine years ago, Hailary was just beginning to shed her Disney image, making way for Miley cyrup to take over her teen-queen reign. High school Musical unexpectedly became a TV phenomenon, breaking massive records (5 million albums sold to date, NBD). We were introduced to stars like Ashley Tidale and the stupid cute Jonas Brothers emerged on to the scene and won over the hearts of teen girls everywhere.
Disney pretty much killed it, inundating us with catchy tracks, cute boys, and musical movies. Consider the era #blessed.
