She loves to bust a dance move or two while performing her catchy singles.
But
her high-energy routine proved to be too much for Meghan Trainor to
handle as she took a dramatic tumble on America's The Jimmy Fallon Show
on Thursday night.
The
22-year-old, who dressed up to the nines to perform her new track Me
Too, twisted her ankle as she turned around to reach for the mic in her
skyscraper heels, leaving her flat on the floor.
The
insanely high element of her metallic silver heels caused her to trip up
awkwardly two times, before taking the mic stand down with her.
While
most performers would jump to their feet and act like nothing had
happened, The Lips Are Movin' singer lay on her back with her arms
sprawled out for more than a couple seconds.
This prompted the show's host Jimmy to sneak in from the sidelines to lay on the floor with her.
The duo engaged in brief jokey chatter where Meghan looked visibly embarrassed before he gave her a helping hand.

Despite the
awkward gaffe, she looked a vision in a heavily sparkled figure-hugging
dress that fell to her knees and plunged down the centre to show off
her cleavage.
Her newly chocolate brown tresses were blow-dried and curled to perfection whilst her make-up was the epitome of glamour.
As
soon as she was done on stage, she took to Instagram to laugh off the
incident and applauded her ability to carry on the show without any
other mishaps.
'Might
have fell down... but I KILLLED that s*** hahaha #keepinitreal thank
you @fallontonight for having me❤️ #metoo,' she mentioned, before being
inundated by amused comments from her 4.6million followers.
On
follower supported her by saying: 'Loved it... it was pretty funny,'
while others weren't too sure about the authenticity of the tumble.
'I thought that was a fake fall,' one viewer stated.

The lighthearted turn of events comes as something of a respite for Meghan, who has recently been at the centre of a controvers.
She
admitted earlier this week that she gave the video for her new single
Me Too the OK before realising that her body had been Photoshopped.
Meghan now takes full responsibility for the fall-out and in an interview with ET mentioned: 'We didn't have a lot of time for this video and we had to wrap it around pretty quick.
'They had like a day to get beauty and colour done.'
She
also revealed that she had approved the music video after watching it
briefly, and only noticed her digitally altered waist after it had been
released. A revised version of the clip has now been released.
Spewing confidence, the Grammy winner later took to Snapchat to talk about the photo-shop incident.
'My
waist is not that teeny, I had a bomb waist that night, I don't know
why they didn't like my waist, but I didn't approve that video and it
went out for the world, so I'm embarrassed.'
