He's a devoted single father to his five-year-old son Cristiano Jr.

And aside from teaching his mini-me football skills, Cristiano Ronaldo has also been training his son to pout like a pro in a selfie.

The three-time Ballon D'or winner took to Instagram on Monday to share a heartwarming picture of himself posing with the youngster, both pulling the same mock-serious face.

The resemblance between father and son was striking in the sweet snap as the pair showcased their good genes.

Ronaldo further sent his followers into overdrive when he uploaded another adorable picture of himself and Cristiano Jr., this time grinning from ear-to-ear.

Cristiano Jr, nicknamed 'Cristianinho' by the family, is nearly as big a star of the Real Madrid forward's social media as the main man himself.

Earlier this year, the youngster posed on a set of apparatus in a manner that will instantly remind fans of one of his father's more memorable goal celebrations.

Cristiano Jr looks remarkably similar to his father when he dispatched a penalty in extra time to score his team's fourth in the 4-1 victory over Altetico Madrid in the 2014 Champions League final.

The then 30-year-old proceeded to remove the famous white shirt, run to the corner, and tense his impressive physique in front of the Los Blancos faithful 

The display would garner an incredible level of attention and scrutiny, attracting nearly as much focus as the capture of the long awaited La Decima itself.

The Madrid outfit have struggled to keep pace with arch rivals Barcelona since then, lying four points short of Atletico in third in La Liga's current campaign.

Nonetheless, Ronaldo, despite suggestions of a decline, has continued to post unparalleled numbers contributing 40 goals and 13 assists in 37 appearances to lead both the La Liga and Champions League top scorers charts.
