Olivier Bourgeais- A true creative genius

Olivier Bourgeais, one of France’s most esteemed and creative designers is living right here in Los Angeles backyard and most don’t even have a clue! To begin the story that is his profound career, he studied at the prestigious French Design School, L’Ecole Pivaut, in Nantes France. Upon completion he had earned a Bachelor in Industrial Design. One could say he was definitely a person of interest to keep your eye on with his lust for creativity and an intense desire to be self-motivated while pushing his abilities to their limits.

After earning his Bachelor in Industrial Design, he began to work in the sports industry at a company named, Tecnifibre renowned for its high quality distribution of equipment to professional tennis athletes. Being multi talented, Olivier Bourgeais always had flair with interior design and created successful furniture designs that were shown in International trade fairs such as Maison et Objet Paris and has even featured in numerous design magazines and blogs. Olivier was already showing what a force he is in the world of creative design. At this point it was no wonder LA was chasing after him trying to recruit his talent and share it with designers of our own.

But his story did not stop there. As with any good story, the show must go on. And go on it did with Olivier Bourgeais. After his time in Paris, he moved to Oceania to peruse different goals and gain experience in various fields. Upon doing so, an opportunity presented itself to work as an Art Director for a well-respected communication agency. And as all Angelinos know, networking is the key to success. Bourgeais proved this to be true by rubbing shoulders with the elite of the fashion world in places such as Australia and New Zealand. He used these interactions as a way to transition into the fashion world and use his passion and knowledge to work at Serge Blanco, a Men’s fashion company based in Toulouse France.

Like many great designers and creative thinkers before him, Olivier Bourgeais came to California. This is where he was able to take his current position at Lifestyledesign as a Creative Director. Currently residing in Santa Barbara California, he lives with his family and raises his two daughters. Olivier Bourgeais is a true creative and accomplished addition to the ever growing Los Angeles and surrounding area. We are happy to have him and lucky to appreciate his ever expanding designs.
