The Journey of a lifetime; we all take various twisting paths to reach our goals in life. The people we meet as well as our own choices make all the difference. For actress, singer, dancer and all around talent filled performer Elena Kornilova this rings true. A star on both the silver screen and stage alike, she radiates star power. With an electric personality and stunning looks, it is no wonder she is an accomplished entertainer. Born and raised in Lensk, a small town in Siberia, she was destined to be a performer.

As a teenager she started acting in school productions such as Alice in Wonderland and Shakespeare’s Midsummer Night’s Dream. Her talent guided her to the opportunity of becoming the host of a local television show in which she’d conduct interviews and have guest cooking segments. These were early signs of here incredible career to come. Always possessing both beauty along with brains, Kornilova attended college at Moscow State University where she graduated with a degree in journalism. During her studies there she continued to act in theater as it was always her true passion. As with most aspiring actors, she made her way to American and studied intensely at the Los Angeles Performing Arts Conservatory. It was here that she fine tuned her skills with numerous classes based on acting, voice and on camera technique.

On a visit to the theater capital of America and dare say the world, New York, she was noticed by famed playwright Stefanie DeLeo. DeLeo saw the talent and passion in Kornilova invited her to be a part of a production. Her exposure to theater led her to win several singing contest with songs from musicals as well as original compositions. One of her original songs even received airplay on the NRJ Russian radio station.  The success kept snowballing when she was cast as a co-star on Comedy Club Russia, the most popular prime time comedy show in the country. Kornilova took this as her chance to return to Los Angles.

Some of Elena’s biggest achievements of her career have included roles in television programs and short movies such as Red Velvet, Breaking Silence, College humor, Fighting Shadows and Perfect Edge. Elena will also star in the upcoming feature film ‘Brothers Keeper’. With several more projects in post production, Kornilova stays busy with her many projects. A true talent, we are sure to much more of her on stage, screen and television.
