THE UNSTOPPABLE AND GIFTED ACTRESS MICHELLE NORDLANDER

The swedes are at it again. Those beautiful people from Scandinavia impress the world with their acting skills – again! We thought it was over for a while but, hey, how could we know that Michelle Nordlander was already in Los Angeles performing in plays, commercials and films. Who knew?

It’s not that we don’t like her – we think she’s a fine human being. It’s her acting skills that we object to. They are simply too, too good. We have seen other actors just walk out of auditions as soon as Michelle walks into the room. Why is that, we asked ourselves? Well, it should be obvious by now that she just knocks ‘em dead when she tries out for a role – any role.

Yes, we heard that story about Ms. Nordlander playing the part of a man in Michael Frayn’s play Noises Off. In fact, she played the part so well that when she first walked out on stage in character and full costume, her fellow actors didn’t know that it was Michelle. See where we’re coming from? Her acting chops are like stellar, if we can use that star-studded adjective.

Okay, maybe we’re being too hard on this very nice and extremely talented and gifted young woman. Maybe we should learn to quietly appreciate people who have come from the cold lands far, far away just to fulfill their dreams of becoming one of the best actors ever. Did we mention that her American accent is also stellar? Well, it is. We know because we saw her stellar acting reel and we loved it. She not only sounds great on film but she looks fantastic, something which we will address in an upcoming article on Ms. Nordlander. There is nothing wrong with being attractive and in the movie business; it’s just another thing for us to complain about.

Michelle has actually been through a great deal of extensive training to become the experienced actor that she is today. She studied at the AADA The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles and among other schools she went through the two year intensive at Kulturama in Stockholm, Sweden.

We have  to admit that Michelle Nordlander is the real deal and that we should be a little easier on her and welcome her for the nice person and the amazing talent she really is.
