The Awakenings Project STL is the artistic concept of Marissa Southards, of St. Louis, MO. The goal of this photographic project is the empowerment of women, girls, and women identifying folx. Participants are asked to cast off societal definitions and step into their truth and define themselves.
The project has resulted in nearly 600 images and a full product line to support the ongoing project and its mission
