Jesus Lloveras, the Spanish thespian realized one day
that what he really wanted was to be an actor and so he dropped out of his
engineering studies and pursued acting at some of the very prestigious
institutions that include NIDA (National Institute of Dramatic arts) along with
the Institut Del Taatre de Barcelona. He also studied at HB Studio in New York
City and earned a scholarship to the well-respected Rose Bruford College of
Theater and Performance in London.
Jesus has been a successful actor on the stage and in TV
and Web series and countless short films and features for over ten years. He
has enjoyed each role he has been cast in and he appreciates the camaraderie
and the close bonds that are formed on each set no matter how long or short the
production ends up being. He fondly remembers the recent big leading role in a
feature film, Tercer Grado, directed
by Geoffrey Cowper in which he played
a troubled young man recently released from prison after serving a five-year
sentence. It is a challenging role to play as the character would be in every
scene of the movie. That meant that he would be on the screen for 80 minutes, and
he would be the key to the success of the entire film. His extraordinary talent and effort paid off
because the film won many international awards and Jesus also was singled out
for his excellent performance. Jesus was invited to present the film to
audiences throughout Europe, China, The United States and Canada.
Because of his success in Europe, he caught the attention
of some of Hollywood talent agents. His first American leading role was in the
feature-length motion picture Black
Flowers, which was directed by the British director Martin Gooch. The film
was shot on location in Northern California and Montana. He was also featured on
the hit television series La Casa de Papel,
also known as Money Heist. In the
history of Netflix, Money Heist is
the most successful non-English language series -ever.
Jesus’ CV overflows with scores of his extraordinary performances.
Besides Black Flowers and Tercer Grado, he has also appeared in: Messi, Rocco, Day 1, Vacio, Vamos a Rodar,
Snails! El Mate de Morphy and El
Reflecto Del Viento to name just a few.
Over the decade of his career in film and television, Jesus
has learned many things about the entertainment industry and the movie business
but one thing is very clear to him “The sky is the limit”, as long as you give
it all you have, and work as hard as you can. It is an industry that awards you the effort
you made and can also have no mercy if you acting skill slides. The relentless drive
for excellence has embedded in his devotion to the career he loves. He is
making every effort to reach the limitless sky. Many of the projects Jesus have
been a part of, have created an incredible amount of buzz including talk of
awards with the overwhelming amount of viewers his shows have received. With
this being said, we cannot wait to see what is next for this gifted and
talented actor.
